Lip service returned for the summer semester last week, and I had a pleasant surprise: two new co-hosts! We spoke about Sarah Palin's "new conservative feminism" : is she co-opting the term feminism to make her more popular or is she being sincere? Tell us what you think!
We plugged Queerbomb, which will be held tonight at The Independent which is located on the east side of I35 at 501 Brushy St.
We also plugged Austin's 1st Annual Pride Run, a 5K starting at the Long center tomorrow at 9 am.
Next week we will continue our discussion on "new conservative feminism" and hetero- and homonormative ideals.
